Seedbed site selection: chili seedling bed should be leeward to the sun, flat terrain, deep soil, easy to irrigation place. There is no plot of tomato, eggplant, potato and pepper planted in the previous crop. The size of the seedbed is recommended to be about 15cm deep, 1.2-1.5m wide and 10m long to facilitate thinning and ventilation.
Seed treatment: Spread the pepper seeds in the sun for 23 hours to kill some germs. Then soak seeds in warm water at 55 ℃, and soak them in 50% carbendazim 300 times solution for 10~15 minutes to kill internal germs.
Germination method: after soaking seeds wrapped with wet towel, placed in about 30 ℃ thermostat, maintain a certain humidity. Turn 1 times every 6 hours, wash with water every 24 hours. When 2/3 seed germination can be sown.
Preparation of nutrient soil: The preparation method of nutrient soil is to take 6 parts of field soil that has not been planted with eggplant crops, 4 parts of fully decomposed high-quality farmyard manure, add about 100g of Dendrobium or carbendazim and about 100g of trichlorfon on each side, and fully mix and mix well.
Temperature management: high temperature before emergence, ground temperature 25-30 ℃, air temperature 28-32 ℃. The temperature after emergence is low, the temperature after heart leaf expansion is high, the temperature before seedling separation is low, the temperature after seedling separation is high, the temperature before planting is low, and the seedling training is carried out at low temperature.
Water and fertilizer management: watering is generally not done after seedling division until new roots grow, and watering can be done in the morning on sunny days after heart leaves begin to grow. Seedlings 15-20 days before planting combined with watering after a quick-acting fertilizer. Loosen the soil properly after each watering, and do not hurt the root system.
Covering and moisturizing: After planting chili, cover with a thin layer of fine soil, and then cover with a layer of transparent film to retain water and moisturize. This helps to improve the emergence rate of crops. After the crop emerges, this plastic film can be removed.
Note: When planting peppers, the seeds should be watered first to avoid soil settlement. Use a watering can to spray water slowly to reduce the possibility of soil crunching.
